Who am I?
I am a physical education teacher in the City School District of Albany. I was born in Essex, England but have lived in many places all over the world including Vancouver, Buffalo, Sarasota, the Bronx, Springfield, Albany, and more. I started the Beestera Foundation in 2021 with a big push from my best friends and biggest supporters.

Who is a hero of mine?
A recent hero of mine is Jennifer King, the NFL's first African American female position coach. I reached out to her on a whim through instagram and she responded. We talked about mantras, she shared hers, and from that day it has been my mantra as well: be so good that you can't be denied.
More about me:
In 2018 I obtained my Masters Degree in Athletic Administration from Springfield College. I completed a thesis titled "Participation and retention of female soccer players from low-income, urban areas" and I have been serving my community through teaching and coaching ever since.

Who am I?
I am a son, brother, husband and father. Born in London, England, I moved to New York City to work as a currency broker. In the aftermath of 9/11, I relocated to the Capital Region where I now reside with my wife, Jodi, and our five children.

I believe that soccer is a universal language, and a force for good, that every child should have the opportunity to play. At the Beestera Foundation I hope to build on the vision and open a door to as many kids as possible!

Who is a hero of mine?
I have had different heroes at different points in my life. George Best, Joe Strummer, and Bob Marley stand out the most. At this moment, W. Kamau Bell is my hero. Scathingly funny as a sociopolitical comedian, he talks about race, diversity and justice with the hope of opening minds and moving us forward.

More about me:
As a kid I played any game with a ball! However, soccer has always been my first love. I played semi-professional soccer in my teens, and have played, coached, and watched the game, wherever and whenever I can, ever since. I have lived in London, New York City, Los Angeles, Sydney, and Hong Kong.
